Obituary of Estelle Robinson

Estelle Robinson of Dover, died peacefully Sunday, December, 25, 2011, at her daughter’s home in Randolph. She was 83. She was born on December 13, 1928 in Stem, North Carolina. Born to Nannie Lyons and Logan Chambers, she was one of six siblings: predeceased by John D., Chief, and Logan, she is survived by McCoy, and Lewis, both from Durham, North Carolina. Estelle was predeceased in death by her husband, Nelson and oldest child Ricky, and is survived by her three daughters, Deborah Robinson of Randolph, Cheryl Robinson of North Carolina, and Donna Guihon and her husband Antoine of Maryland. She was also the loving and cherished grandmother of Alexandria, Zachariah, Jean Marc, Ashley, and Stephanie, and great grandmother of Sylvia. She was the aunt of many nieces and nephews. She found great comfort and joy among her church family of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, where she was a member for many years. We the sisters would like to thank William Davis for his kindness and companionship. We would also like to acknowledge the loving and kind support of Charles D. Williams and his son Tyler. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2011, 3 – 5 PM & 7 – 9 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 29, 2011, 11:00 AM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 61 Richards Ave, Dover.
