Obituary of Edna E. Rawson

Edna Rawson, age 92, passed away peacefully at Saucon Valley Manor, Hellertown, PA on February 14, 2012. Her generosity of spirit and love for family and friends cannot be replaced. Born in Paterson, NJ, Edna was a lifelong resident of Dover and a member of the 1937 class of Dover High School. She retired from J.J. Newberry in 1984 after 27 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Dover, where for many years she served on the Administrative Board and was an active member of United Methodist Women. She served on the Advisory Board of the Dover Salvation Army, volunteered in the Dover Auxiliary of Saint Clares Hospital and for 13 years served meals at the Dover Faith Kitchen. Edna was predeceased by her husband, William H. Rawson and two brothers, Leo Norton and Wilbert Norton. She is survived by a son Richard W. Rawson, his wife Edit Ginsberg of Bethlehem, PA, one granddaughter, Leah Hull-Rawson of Media, PA and many nieces and nephews.
