Obituary of Katherine Pentikis

Katherine Pentikis, 85, of Dover died Saturday, March 6, 2010 in Kindred Hospital/ Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 9, 2010, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 Route 10 West, Randolph Township, N.J. 07869, www.tuttlefh.com. The funeral is on Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. in Saint Andrew Greek Orthodox Church, Randolph. Burial will be Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover. Born in Messolonghi, Greece, on April 16, 1924, Mrs. Pentikis, a homemaker, lived in Dover since 1951. She was an original member of St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church, Randolph, for over 40 years, and an original member of Philoptochos. She was a woman of great faith and was devoted to her family and friends. Surviving are her daughter, Mary Ann Brasil and her husband, Joseph; grandson, Christos; also survived by nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Costas, in 1967; three sisters and two brothers. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Kindred Hospital at Robert Wood Johnson, who provided excellent care, comfort and support to her and her family.
