Mrs. Beatrice H. Fletcher, 95, of Rockaway Boro passed away Sunday, March 7th, 2010 at home. Resident of Rockaway Boro since 1942, moved here from Dover.
Mrs. Fletcher was born in Pamplico, SC.
She was one of the oldest members of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Dover. Member of the Senior Womens Sunshine Club of Morristown.
She worked as a Matron at R.C.A., Rockaway, and retired in 1985.
Survived by five children George Jr., Jean Fletcher, Judy Scott, Geraldine Fletcher and Warren H., her brother Willie H. Hugee and her brother-in-law Napoleon Fletcher. Also survived by four grandchildren Yvonka, Burundi, Mohamed Ali, and Shana. Predeceased by her husband George W. in 1991 and also her grandson Mervis Scott Jr., and her granddaughter Djauna Hunley.
Visitation Thursday, March 11, 2010, 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday. Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover.
