Donald J. Pedersen, 78 of Rockaway, passed away Thursday, March 18th, 2010 at home. He was born to John and Adeline Pedersen, September 16th, 1931, in Bronx, NY. Donald graduated from Fordham Preparatory in 1949 and attended Manhattan College. He served his country during the Korean War. He married his wife Kathleen in 1959. They moved to Rockaway Borough in 1969 and have lived there together ever since.
Beloved by his wife Kathleen and children: Donald and Lynda Pedersen, of Emerald Lakes, PA and Michael and Antoinette Pedersen, of Cliffside Park and his three grandchildren, Sterlling, Gryffin, and Rowan. Also survived by his three sisters Arlene O'Shea, Kathleen Weis, and Christine Cerullo.
Visitation will be held Sunday, March 21st, 2010, 2 - 6 p.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Service will be Sunday at 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
