Robert Pehlivanian, 76, passed away Friday June 11TH at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, Bradenton, FL. Born in NYC and residing in Morris Plains, NJ for most of his life before relocating to Bradenton, FL 5 years ago. Mr. Pehlivanian attended Cornell University and earned his BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1957. He also held a Degree in Law from Seton Hall University. He was employed by IBM for over 30 years in addition to practicing law in NJ. He was an enthusiastic supporter of the Arts, particularly Opera. He had many interests that he was passionate about including gardening, cooking, and reading. He was an avid collector of numerous items. Robert was predeceased by his wife, Patricia, who died in 2004. Surviving are his son William of San Antonio, TX, and three daughters; Tracia Amicucci and husband Louis of Stamford, CT, Monya Kampa and husband Brian of St. Paul MN, and Daria Knowles and husband Matt of Portland, OR. Also surviving are his sister Christine Shamsey and husband Robert of Sarasota, Fl, and his brother John and wife Joanne of Bayhead, NJ. He is also survived by four grandchildren; Riley, Henry, Marshall and Genevieve. Visitation will be Monday June 21st 3-5pm and 7-9pm at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph, NJ (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home, Tuesday, June 22nd at 10 am. Internment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Morristown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert’s memory to the American Heart Association , 1 Union Street, Suite 301, Robbinsville,NJ 08691-4183
