Betty Fleming, 84, of Dover, passed away Friday, October 15th, 2010 at Saint Clares Hospital, Dover following a short illness. Born in Columbia, SC, Betty has been a resident of Dover since 1966.
She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Greystone Psychiatric Hospital, Morris Plains, and retired in 1987 after 35 years.
Member of the Order of Eastern Star, Queen Esther #88, Newark and the Longevity Club of Greystone Psychiatric Hospital, Morris Plains.
Survived by her husband Robert of 53 years; two children Boyce and wife Dolfina of Roselle and Denise Martineau of Glen Allen, VA; four grandchildren; and brother Robert Brown of Greenville, NC. Also survived by brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Visitation Thursday, October 21st, 2010, 7 - 9 P.M. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com).
Funeral Services will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church (973-335-7607), 4 Rock Lane and Church Road, Boonton, NJ 07005, at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, October 22nd, 2010. Entombment will follow at Locust Hill Mausoleum, Dover.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in her memory to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 1131, Fairfax, VA 22038-1131.
