John J. Nichols, Jr., 81, of Randolph, passed away Monday, December 20th, 2010, at Care One, Parsippany following a short illness. Born in Newark, John has been a resident of Randolph since 1956.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during Peacetime.
He worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Kearfott Singer Aerospace, Little Falls, and retired in 1988 after over 30 years.
Survived by Ann his wife of 57 years; two children Cheryl Munkel of Madison and Brian of PA; his brother James of Lavelette and two sisters Helen Kinel of Waretown and Kathleen Brown of Sea Girt. Also survived by three grandchildren Lyndsey, Sean, and Joseph.
Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, January 15th, 2011, 11:00 A.M. at St. Matthew the Apostle R.C. Church, 335 Dover-Chester Road, Randolph, (973-584-1101).
