Obituary of Edward J. Coleman

Edward J. Coleman, 75, of Jefferson Township, passed away Friday, January 7th, 2011. Born in Jersey City, Edward has been a resident of Jefferson since 1973. Formerly of Nutley. He was a Parishioner of St. Matthew the Apostle R.C. Church, Randolph. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1953 to 1956. He worked as a Police Officer Seargent for the Nutley Police Department, Nutley, and retired in 1991 after 30 years. Edward is survived by two daughters Chris Ann Tamayo of WA and Stephanie Coleman-Chan of Randolph. Also survived by his sister Sue Timmerman of CT., nine grandchildren Kira, Joshua, Vanessa, Brandon, Dominic, Damian, Darrian, Leah, and Maya; three great-grandchildren Julian, Kai'lie, and Rielyn. Memorial Mass will be held at St. Matthew the Apostle R.C. Church, 335 Dover-Chester Road, Randolph 07869 (973-584-1101), Saturday, January 15th, 2011, 1:00 P.M..
