Obituary of Maria L. Gazdalski

Maria L. Gazdalski - 84 Maria L. Gazdalski died peacefully Wednesday, February 9th, 2011 at Milford Manor Nursing Home after a long illness. Maria was born in Caldwell to the late Michele and Patrina Commarato. She was a graduate of Caldwell High School; enjoyed baseball, being a lifelong Yankee fan. She spent most of her life in Verona as a homemaker, loving wife, and mother. She was active while living in Verona with Our Lady of the Lake RC Church. Maria was preceded in death by her loving husband Adolph, and her sister Anne Russell. She is survived by her three sons; Albert and his wife Laurie, Joseph and his wife Kathy, and Thomas and his wife Karen. She was blessed with six grandchildren; Laurie Genna and her husband Michael, Sarah Dalfol and her husband Alex, Adam, Alex, Jayne, and Eric: and three great-grandchildren; Sophia, Serena, and Scarlett. Maria is also survived by two sisters; Beatrice D'Elia and Josephine Busse, and a brother Michele Commarato. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to your local Hospice Care facility in Maria's honor. Services are being handled by Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph, NJ and are private to the family and close friends.
