William R. Hunt, 86, of Fayetteville, PA, passed away Saturday, June 11th, 2011 at Laurel Run Unique Senior Facility, Fayetteville, PA following a short illness. Resident of Rockaway Township, NJ most of his life. Moved to Florida in 1987 then to Tennesse. He then lived for a few years in Fayetteville, PA. He served in the U.S. Navy during WW II. Served in the European theatre of War. He worked as a Electrical Lineman Foreman - Engineering Division at Picatinny Arsenal, Rockaway Township, NJ, retired in 1980 after 34 years. Member of Acacia Lodge #20 F. & A.M., Dover; 32nd Degree Mason, member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Trenton; Shriner, member of Crescent Temple of Trenton; American Legion Post 90 of SW Cape Coral, FL; V.F.W. Post 1599, Charles Nitterhouse Post, Chambersburg, PA. Survived by his wife Rosemary A. of 67 years. Also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends. Visitation Wednesday, June 15th, 2011, 3 - 5 & 7 - 9 P.M. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph, NJ (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Services will also be held at the funeral home 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 16th, 2011. Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in his memory to a charity of your choice.
