I often wondered what happened to Joe after leaving Bosch. I was his secretary for too short a time. I started in February of 1971 at the age of 23 - that would have made Joe 35. He was the sweetest boss and though he knew my name was Rita, I was affectionately called "Maggie." I never asked why, I just answered when he called. He was always respectful and just a great guy to work for and he taught me so much. I remember crying (he did too), as he dictated his letter of resignation when he decided to leave Bosch. He loved working for Bosch, and I loved working for him. We kept in touch after he left Bosch and moved to WI (Beloit, I think). My boyfriend and I went to visit him one time. Joe was the best! He was just a very caring, compassionate and fun-loving guy, and I want you to know just how very special he really was as a friend. Gosh, I'm now 77 and still think and wonder where he is and hoping he's happy. Well, you can't get much happier than being in Heaven, and I know that's where Joe is at. I don't know if anyone in Joe's family will even read this, but it makes me feel better to express my feelings for a wonderful man who made my life better for knowing him. God bless you Joe.
