Updated! Revised Day and Time The family has decided to change the funeral services from Saturday to Sunday because of the inclement weather that is forcasted. See below for more information: Emmett D. Littleton, 90, of Dover died on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012 in Danville, Arkansas. He was born on December 19, 1921 in Sugar Grove, AR. He was educated for 16 years and received a B.S. Degree. He was self-employed and was the co-owner/operator of "D.C. Automotive," an Auto Electric Repair shop in Jefferson, NJ. He retired in 1997 after 27 years. He resided in Dover, NJ since 1961 and moved here from Arkansas. He served in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1945 and served in WWII and was a veteran of the Invasion of Normandy and fought throughout the European Theatre until he became a prisoner of war in 1944. He received the Purple Heart in 1945. He is survived by two children, Nora Van Beek of Dover and Kevin of PA; one sister, Gwen Shockley of AR. and two brothers, Roy of AR. and Hubert of AZ. Also six grandchildren, David, Erin, Jeffrey, Alex, Elizabeth, Will; three great grandchildren, Kai, Quinn, and Max. He was predeceased by his wife, Jean in 2010. A Memorial Visitation will be held at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 W., Randolph, NJ on Sunday, January 22, 2012 from 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM. Memorial Service will follow at 2:30 PM at the funeral home.
