Obituary of Ellen Whiteneck

Ellen Whiteneck, 56, of Hackettstown, passed away suddenly on January 9th, 2014 at her home. She was born in Hoboken, formerly of Randolph before residing in Hackettstown since 1994. Ellen was an Enrollment Analyst at Delta Dental of NJ, Parsippany for 28 years. Ellen was devoted to her family and her work. She loved children and was a treasured godmother to her two godchildren and aunt to her two nephews. Ellen loved animals. She was an excellent chef and baker, and loved to cook for her family and friends. Her beautiful smile and kindness will be missed by all. Survived by her parents Alice and Peter Tighe; brother Michael Whiteneck; nephew Michael all of Cape Coral, FL; cousin Sheree and Don Rust and their son Daniel of Bethlehem Twp.. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 16th, 2014, 4:00-8:00 PM, at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Rt 10 West, Randolph, (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 17th, 2014 at 10:00AM, also at the funeral home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in her memory to St. Jude Tribute Program, P.O. Box 1000, Dept 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
