Obituary of Arthur J. Bracuti

Dr. Arthur J. Bracuti, 80, of Blairstown, passed away Monday, January 23rd, 2012 at Compassionate Care Hospice, Dover. Dr. Bracuti was born in East Orange and has been a resident of Blairstown since 2001, moved here from Randolph.
He worked as a Research Scientist at Picatinny Arsenal, Rockaway Township, retired in 2006 after 40 years.
He attended University of Alabama; Upsala College, B.S. Chemistry; Rutgers University, M.S. Physical Chemistry, Ph.D. Physical Chemistry (Salutatorian). He was also the recipient of 3 Army Research and Development Awards.
Survived by his wife Robin; 5 children Dean A. and wife Denise of Blairstown, Guy A. of Washington D.C., Daria Hill and husband Jeremy of Hackettstown, Holly Bracuti and Christie Bracuti both of Blairstown. Also survived by 1 sister Barbara Queen of East Hanover, 1 brother Peter of Mendham and 3 grandchildren Preston, Jordana and Brady.He was predeceased by his son, Perry Bracuti in 2001.
Visitation Friday, January 27th, 2012, 4 - 8 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com).
Funeral Services will also be held at the funeral home 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 28th 2012. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Randolph.
