Marian Alberta Dickerson, 87, of New Vernon, passed away at home, Thursday, February 16th, 2012. Marian was born in Brooklyn, NY and formerly resided in Dover.
She attended the Chatham United Methodist Church, Chatham.
Mrs. Dickerson was Co-owner/Operator of Dickerson's Flower and Gift Shop, Dover, and retired in 1999 after 35 years.
She was a member of Pearl Chapter #79 Order of Eastern Star, Dover. Graduated from Montclair State Teachers College.
Survived by her husband Charles G., her children Dale and his wife Kathy, Harry and his wife Patricia, Scott, Jeanne Silva and her husband Christopher and Mary Lou McGuire and her husband Michael. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation Sunday, February 19th, 2012, 2:00 - 6:00 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Service will also be held at the funeral home Monday, February 20th, 2012 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Hanover Cemetery, East Hanover.
