Grace D. "Doris" Gardner, 86, of Dover, passed away Thursday, January 10th, 2013 at Merry Heart Healthcare Center, Succasunna. Doris was born in Dover and has been a lifelong resident of Dover.
She was a lifetime member of Sacred Heart Church, Dover.
She was a homemaker and a Graduate of Wilford Acacemy, Newark and had previously worked as a beautician.
Doris is survived by four children Patrice Singleton and her husband Tim, Gary Gardner and his wife Sandy, Marijo Meehan and her husband Joe, and Laure Sabo and her husband Rob. Also survived by ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Wilbur and her daughter Jill.
Visitation Sunday, January 13th, 2013, 2 - 6 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Mass, Monday, January 14th, 2013, 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, Dover. Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover.
Flowers will be accepted or donations to St. Jude Tribute Program, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
