Obituary of Kenneth L Fichter

Kenneth L. Fichter, 100 passed away at St. Lucie Hospice House, FT. Pierce, FL. He was a resident of Rockaway Boro most of his life and was a resident of Florida since 1990.
Kenneth was a former member of First Presbyterian Church of Rockaway, and Acacia Lodge # 20 F. & A.M. of Dover. He also served on the Rockaway Boro Board of Education from 1957 – 1963.
He served in the Army Air Corps in WWII in The Pacific Theatre, and was the Assistant Chief Atomic Munitions Branch at Picatinny Arsenal in Rockaway Township retiring in 1971 after 28 years.
Kenneth is survived by his daughter Karen Basile and her husband Richard of Rockaway, his longtime love Lois Elias of Fl., his two grandchildren Heather Rocco and her husband Peter of Morris Plains, Trevor Basile and his wife Lisa of Rockaway, he is also survived by his five great grandchildren Maya, Dylan, Amber, Jenna and Tyler.
Visitation 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon, Saturday, September 16, 2017, at Tuttle Funeral Home, followed by a service at 12:00 Noon (www.tuttlefh.com).
