Philomena LaCapria, 76, of Dover, passed away Tuesday, March 18th, 2014 at Memory Care Living, Chester Township, following a long illness. Philomena was born in Glasgow, Scotland and has been a resident of Dover since 1972.
She was a faithful parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Dover.
She worked as a Child Care Provider. She loved singing and dancing and was a very caring and nurturing person, her grandchildren were her life.
Survived by her husband Carmello of over 48 years; two daughters Leah Bernadette Keyes and her husband Michael, Erin Marie Loescher and her husband James; five grandchildren Charles, Ashley, John Paul, Philomena and Michael. Also survived by three brothers and two sisters in Scotland.
Visitation Thursday, March 20th, 2014, 3:00-5:00 & 7:00-9:00 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com ). Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church, Dover at 11:30 AM on Friday, March 21st, 2014.
Interment to follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 400 Morris Ave., Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834.
