Obituary of Solveig Walaas

Solveig Walaas, 87 passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Franciscan Oaks, Denville.  She was born in Kvinesdal, Norway and has been a resident of Mine Hill since 2004.  Solveig worked for Sears in Rockaway as an Administrative Clerk until retiring in 1998.

She attended Milton United Methodist Church in Oak Ridge and was a member of the Sons of Norway Norbu Lodge of Rockaway Township.

Solveig is survived by her children Chlarens Orsland, Lisa Dufour, Hilary Walaas, Arnt Walaas Jr., her brother Alv Egeland and her sister Anna Egeland, she is predeceased by her husband Arnt in 1985.

Visitation Sunday, 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM, December 17, 2017 at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 Route 10, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com).

Funeral Service Monday, 11:00 am December 18, 2017 also at the Funeral Home.

Interment to follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Oak Ridge.
