Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Bonkoski
Marybeth Elizabeth “MaryBeth” Cousey Bonkoski (60) of Morristown, passed away at home after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Survived by her loving husband William “Bill” of 32 years; her daughter Katherine and son William “Billy”; six siblings Barbara Anne of Bridgewater, David of Wantage, Paul and his wife Deborah of Stillwater, Diane and her fiancé Kevin of Flemington, Kathleen of Morristown and William “Will” and his wife Stacy of Colorado and many loved and cherished in- laws, cousins, nieces and nephews. Marybeth was predeceased by her parents, Edward J and Louise B. Cousey of Randolph.
She was born February 24th, 1957 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville. She lived and attended school in Randolph until 1975. Graduated with a BS in Speech Pathology and Audiology from West Virginia University and continued her education at St. Elizabeth College where her teaching career began. She taught in Roxbury and in the Morristown School District. She was dedicated and passionate for teaching children with special needs.
MaryBeth was an avid baker and won several contests with her famous apple pie recipe. She enjoyed vacationing every summer in Cape Cod, was proud of her Irish heritage, and for many years was an Irish Step Dancing Mom for her daughter “Kate.”
Visitation Wednesday 12/27/17 from 4:00pm-8:00pm at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Mass Thursday 12/28/17 at 10:00am at Assumption Church, Morristown. Interment to follow at Holy Rood Cemetery, Morristown.
