George’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5: 28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am very sorry for your loss. George was a great man, he always said how he felt and never kept you guessing. He was a very honest and thoughtful person. His knowledge that he brought to Overlook and the ability to fix anything will definitely be missed. He had a lot of residents and fellow employees that loved him. I will miss his many phone calls and lengthy conversations. Thank you for being a part of our family at Overlook you will always be in my thoughts.

I count it an honor to have been with you on your last day's on earth. I remember holding your hand while you were in so much pain, and praying that Jesus would give you peace in your last days of life which I have no doubt He did. You are loved, appreciated and will missed.

I am thankful you are at peace now, George! I will always have fond memories of our early morning road trips, camping adventures, hiking in nature, explorations of historic sites throughout the northeast, and finally that wrinkly dog you would have hanging on your mirror in your jeep when Mommy first met you! You will always be the man 'Behind Blue Eyes' to me! I am just so thankful that you are at peace now and are free from all the pain and suffering! We love you and miss you but know you are smiling down upon us
