Geraldine’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5: 28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". Mr and Mrs Longo, or Gerry and Don, as I came to call you once I grew up, I will miss you Gerry. I have such good memories of growing up with your family in Meyersville: Riding with Donna, (you and my parents allowing us kids to have horses was amazing!), dirtbike riding, the bus ride to school, and always something really good to eat at your house. Then as our families grewup and we moved, still keeping in touch, visiting us in Tampa (Excellent baked clams!) and the FL Keys. You and your family have been such good friends, we hope the good memories will help to ease your pain. I will always cherish my good experience growing up with your family. Love, Anne Martin

Dear Don, Donna and family, so sorry to hear of Gerry's passing. We always enjoyed seeing her at the various club functions; she was friendly to all of us and very sincere. It was so special to see the two of you arriving for the Basilone parade marching so proudly. Tom and I have been married for the same length of time, so I can relate a slight bit as to how it must feel for you, Don. We know all your good memories will be a source of strength. She's with our loving Jesus now, looking over all of you! Sorry to be missing her funeral, but we're still in Florida. Hopefully we'll see you this summer. Fondly, Doris and Tom
