Chris was one of my favorite people even though we only knew each other online-- however, we were friends since I was 13 and he was 15; I am now 27. He was so funny and cheerful and when I was in a bad mood he always knew what to say and he was a total sweetheart. Since 2016 I lost contact with Chris and wanted to check on him, seeing that he had passed, I had to send a condolence. I want to send my condolences to all of his family and friends. The world lost an irreplaceable gem when Chris left this plane of existence. May he rest in peace and always be loved and remembered, my dear friend. I love and miss you, Chris. - Kailey

Chris was one of my peer leaders when we had the program my freshman and sophmore year(the year he graduated)he took me under his wing and taught me so much about to have fun and not worry as much in high school and it worked out cause those we’re my best days when i saw him.he’s helped me when i had my appendix surgery in may of 07 right before his senior prom and welcomed me back to school with open arms and i’ll never forget that.he’s also helped me out this past year with a massive breakup i had with my now ex fiancè he gave me some advice on how to cope with it and how to use it as motivation for my future and so far its working out like we hoped for so im greatful for chris being there for me all these years i will forever miss him and my condolences go out to the family at this time.

To the family of Christopher Kays
Please accept my sincere condolences. I have taken comfort knowing that God . . . will wipe all tears from their eyes, and there will be no more death, suffering, crying, or pain.”—Revelation 21:3, 4
The Bible, however, holds out a much different hope. As we have previously noted, the Scriptures indicate that it is possible to be reunited with your dead loved one in the near future, not in an unknown heaven but right here on earth under peaceful, righteous conditions. And at that time humans will have the prospect of enjoying perfect health, and they will never have to die again. ‘But surely that is wishful thinking!’ some may say words of encouragement please go to JW.org for words of encouragement
Sincerely,
Roberta

Chris- you were one of the sweetest people I knew. You were there for so many, always someone that could be counted on and truly a friend to those around you. We shared many high school memories, and although I hope you are in peace, I'm so saddened by your early passing. I will think of you and your warm smile often. Rest easy.

My condolences to the Kays family. I’m distraught to hear about the death of someone from Roxbury, especially one who I’ve seen within the past year. I’m sure this is way harder on your family than any of us can imagine, but you are certainly not alone. Burying a sibling or child is the worst thing anyone can go through, and myself and others have had similar experiences in recent months/years. Just know that you have people in your community who are always here to listen, and please don’t hesitate to reach out if you ever want to fight for a cause. There are thousands of us who want to do anything we can to help. Rest In Peace, Chris.

Christopher’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5: 28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope. https://www.jw.org/en/publications/magazines/wp20140101/

Chris, I will never forget our school lunches together. Watching your bright smile and your one of kind strut to the table always made my day to see you. I only have the happiest of memories in my heart of you. I’ll cherish those memories and think of you often. May you find peace and may you feel all the love that has surrounded you then and now. Sending love and strength to your family during this time.

Chris was the warmest-hearted guy. He didn't know how not to be kind. Even as a little boy. I will miss him so much.
