Obituary of Betty D Rowe

Betty D. Rowe, 93 passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Chilton Medical Center, Pompton Plains.   Betty was born in Morris Township and resided in Randolph for 57 years. She most recently lived in Cedar Crest retirement community for the past 8 years.  Betty was a proud graduate of Orange Memorial School of Nursing and served as a School Nurse in the Morris School District at Alexander Hamilton High School for 26 years.  She was a dedicated member of the First Memorial Presbyterian Church of Dover for 60 years and was an Elder and Deacon there. 

Betty is survived by her three children, her daughter Gayle Dierks and her husband Jon of Succasunna, her sons Gary and his wife Linda of Long Valley, Dr. Glen and his wife Lori of Charlotte, N.C., her 10 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her brother Bill Davis and wife Sally of Iowa and her brother in law Adrian Vander Does of Randolph.  Betty is preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, John as well as her sister Barbara Vander Does.

Visitation is Monday, September 24, 2018 from 4:00PM - 7:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 Route 10 Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com).

Funeral Service is Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 11:00 AM at First Memorial Presbyterian Church of Dover.  Interment is at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Chester.  In lieu of flowers, donations to First Memorial Presbyterian Church, 51 West Blackwell Street, Dover, NJ 07801.
