Obituary of Harriet A. Driscole

Harriet Decker Driscole, 85, passed away Friday, September 5 th , 2014 after a courageous battle with a short illness. She was the daughter of Harry and Estelle Morgan Decker. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard Drisole of 56 years in 2005.
Harriet was born on April 11 th , 1929. She was a graduate of Clark Summit High School in 1946 and the Mansfield College and Hahmenann Hospital School of Nursing in 1949. She married Howard on November 12 th , 1949 in Clark Summit, PA.
The resided in Mine Hill since 1958. She first worked at St. Clare’s Hospital and then Roxbury Medical Group for Dr. Battone until retirement in 1994.
Harriet enjoyed reading, television, shopping, QVC, traveling, ice cream, and especially her family.
She is survived by her children Gary (Adrienne) Driscole of VA, Harriet (Gus) Milano of Randolph, Pam Maler of FL, Judy ( Gary ) Kelly of Roxbury, Jeff (Debbie) Driscole of PA, and Craig (Karen) Driscole of Mine Hill. Her grandchildren Matt and Mark Milano, Jessica LoScalzo, Jamie Argenziano, Kaitlyn Chamberland, Chad Malar, Rory and Kyle Driscole, and 8 great grandchildren. Her in-laws Richard Driscole and Dianna Wilkins of PA and many nieces, nephews, and friends especially Francis and Nick Norton of Mine Hill, and her dog Chaz.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 8 th , 2014, 3:00-5:00PM & 7:00-9:00PM, at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph ( www.tuttlefh.com ). Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, September 9 th , 2014, 12:00PM also at the funeral home. Entombment to follow at Locust Hill Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in her memory to the American Cancer Society, Eastern Division, Inc., Attn: Memorial Processing Center , 6725 Lyons Street, P.O. Box 7 , East Syracuse , NY 13057 .
