Obituary of Ellsworth Detweiler

Ellsworth (PeeWee) Detweiler, 85, of Mine Hill, passed away Friday, October 31st, 2014. He was a lifelong resident of Mine Hill. He served in the U.S. Navy. He worked for Kenvil Newcrete Products Company before retiring in 1991. Ellsworth was an avid Yankee and New York Giants Football fan. Mr. Detweiler is survived by his wife June (Condit) of 58 years, three daughters Karen Smith and her husband Michael, Sherri Gonzalez and her husband John and Cindy Tironi and her husband John, five grandchildren Jason, Cassandra, Heather, Steven and John, and five great grandchildren Connor, Delilah, Jaeden, Brooklynn and Cameron. Also survived by his sister-in-law Gwendolyn (Condit) Bradshaw and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Predeceased by his two brothers William and Ralph and a sister Doris Wright. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th, 2014 3:00-5:00PM & 7:00-9:00PM, at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com ). A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 6th, 2014, at 10:30AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Mendham Hilltop Cemetery, Mendham. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in his memory to Mine Hill First Aid Squad, 10 Baker Street Mine Hill, NJ 07803.
