Obituary of Gilbert C Corey

Gilbert C. Corey, 89, of Fairfield, formerly of Hackettstown, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Sunrise of West Essex, Fairfield.  Gilbert was born in Dover.  He worked for Lockheed Martin, CA. for 15 years where he retired.  He later worked for M&M Mars, Hackettstown for 5 years before he finally retired. Gilbert was a member of the Elks Lodge, Santa Maria, CA.  He received his pilot’s license which he was very proud of and enjoyed flying his Cessna Airplane.

Gilbert is survived by his daughter Diana Mayer; grandsons, Shaun and Ryan; and nieces, Judith Tomasini and Kathi Horvath.  He was predeceased by his wife Carol in 2008.

Visitation Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph (Tuttlefh.com) from 10:30AM-11:30AM, followed by an 11:30AM Funeral Service at the funeral home.  Interment at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover
