During this difficult time may you find comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your heart. May the words of Psalm 34:18 “ Jehovah God is near to those that are broken at heart..” bring the entire family comfort and strength. Please accept my sincere condolences.

I was so saddened to hear of Richards passing. How lucky were my parents...Elaine and Bill to have such a wonderful and caring friend. After my dad died Richard was the one friend who would call my mom almost weekely to see how she was doing. He was the most loyal friend and only wish i could have a friend like Richard. When my mom developed dementia he still would talk to her. He was the only one who would make her really laugh. My mom and i were so fortunate to just talk to Richard last week. We didn’t know we were saying god bye....but how blessed were we to both get our last “is this Miss America” greeting!
Our prayers are with your entire family. Thank you Richard for being a part of our lives. You will be always remembered.

To the family of Eichard Tort
Please accept my sincere condolences. I have taken comfort knowing that God . . . will wipe all tears from their eyes, and there will be no more death, suffering, crying, or pain.”—Revelation 21:3, 4
The Bible, however, holds out a much different hope. As we have previously noted, the Scriptures indicate that it is possible to be reunited with your dead loved one in the near future, not in an unknown heaven but right here on earth under peaceful, righteous conditions. And at that time humans will have the prospect of enjoying perfect health, and they will never have to die again. ‘But surely that is wishful thinking!’ for some may say. For words of encouragement please go to JW.org
Sincerely,
Roberta

RIP Richard. Richard was the only person who ever thought I could be Miss America. I will certainly miss him. Over the years, I’ve heard many stories, from Gerilyn, about her Dad. They were ALL good, funny stories. Nothing was ever said about him being sad or annoyed or angry. He was a very Happy man. But of course he was always happy...He was blessed to have the best, most caring, loving daughter a father could ever ask for. And Ger was equally blessed. I will miss his kind words and his laughter.
My condolences to Kay, Ger and Rhys.

I will be forever greatful for the day I met Gerilyn because it brought with it my getting to be part of the story of Richard Tort. I lived for the stories Gerilyn would share and I always knew our conversations were going to make me laugh when they started off ‘let me tell you what my Dad did today..’ My memories of him trying to fix me up on dates at Giants games, teaching me everything I needed to know about annuities and always giving me some kind of gift out of the trunk of his car, will be with me forever. Mr. Tort, today, I will not shed a tear. Instead, I will put the best grilled sausage on a piece of Calandra’s bread and remember how privledged I was to be part of your amazing life journey. You will be missed but never forgotten. (Put a good word in up there for our 2019 season...Go Giants!)

Tuttle Funeral home was designed as a funeral home by funeral home architects and designers. Unllike many funeral homes that were originally old homes and then were converted into funeral homes.
Though it was designed as a funeral home, it still provides the warm comforting feeling of a home, but with more space and an open feeling.
