Obituary of Mary E. Cheli

Mary Elizabeth Cheli, 69, of Randolph Twp, loving wife, mother and “Grammy,” passed away Saturday September 14, 2019 at Morristown Memorial Hospital, with her family at her side.  Born and raised in New York City, Mary had resided in Randolph Township for the past 26 years.

Mary enjoyed professional success into her adult life, having graduated law school in her 30s and working as a Senior Trademark Attorney for Wyeth, Pfizer and Novartis pharmaceutical companies in Madison, NJ.  Never one to settle into retirement, Mary had recently enjoyed continuing her legal career with Johnson & Johnson and volunteering at the Randolph Library and MPAC.

Mary is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years, Al; daughter Alanna, her husband Wiley Wright and sons Wiley and Andrew; son Alex; five siblings, Jeanne Letkiewicz, Madison Maron, James Maron, Matthew Maron and Rosemary Blair; uncle Ben Salvage and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Tuttle Funeral Home in Randolph, NJ (Tuttlefh.com) on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM.  Funeral service at the funeral home will be on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.  Flowers are welcome, or donations may be made in her memory to a charity of your choosing.
