Gloria was amazing. She worked tirelessly for the Art Educators of NJ, as an original member of the Fellows, past president and long time member of the conference committee. She was a mentor and friend and role Model on many ways. Her voice may be silent but her legacy is with us

Mrs Pappalardo was my art teacher from kindergarten or first grade all the way to high school. She inspired me so much I ended up going to Art School too. We at Randolph we’re so lucky to have had her guidance and support. She truly cared about all of her students.

Mrs. Pappalardo was one of my art teachers at Randolph High School in the late 1970s; she was always patient and encouraging, and instructive, even when one of my pottery projects lost its battle to gravity. Although I live in Ocean County now, I still have family in the Randolph area. Both of my own daughters are artists. My oldest daughter, Claire, is studying to be an art educator at Fairleigh Dickinson University. I have spoken of my art teachers with her; I will be sure to share what a difference Gloria made in my own life.
