Obituary of Jules Charles Posten

Jules Charles Posten passed away on Thursday March 19, 2020 at the age of 80. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was married 58 years to the love of his life, Sandy, whom he met on a blind date, and they resided in Morris Plains. Jules served in the army and was stationed in Ft Benning, Georgia and Orleans, France and worked as a salesman at Masda Corporation for a number of years. Despite dealing with a painful disability as a result of back surgery, Jules persevered and showed incredible strength throughout his life. His grandchildren and great-grandchild were the joys of his life. He had a love of classic movies, books, photography and Monty Python. He was also a devoted Mets fan. Jules leaves behind his wife Sandy Posten and his three children, a son Andrew Posten and his wife Robin of Rockaway, daughters Jennifer San Roman and her husband John of Denville, and Rachel Abrams and her husband Pete of Rockaway. He was a loving grandfather to Marisa and Danielle Posten, Michelle Masterbone and her husband Tim, Kelly and Laura San Roman, and Leah and Sarah Abrams. He was also blessed with a great-grandson Arlo. He leaves behind a niece Amy Gustafson and her husband Bruce and their children Nissa and Issac. He was predeceased by his parents Alex and Molly Posten, and a sister Joyce Sokol.
