Obituary of Zoe Paleocostas

Zoe Paleocostas, 65, passed away peacefully on March 27 in Rockaway, NJ. She was born February 25, 1955 in Eleftheriani, Greece to Demetrios and Spyridoula (Pexos) Papadopoulos. She is predeceased by her father, Demetrios. Zoe immigrated with her family to the United States in 1966. She was a graduate of Morris County Community College and worked as an Administrative Assistant for Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson for 15+ years. Zoe was the epitome of what her name in Greek meant—“Life.” She enjoyed spending her time with family and friends and cooking amazing meals. Her greatest joy in life was loving and taking care of her grandchildren. A breast cancer survivor, Zoe understood hardship, but had the most loving and caring soul. Zoe is survived by her husband of 40 years, Vasilios, and 4 children, Steven and wife Ashley, Vicky and husband Billy, Sandy, and Dimitri; her mother, Spyridoula; grandchildren, Loula, Zoe, Demetra, Alexander, Mila, Christiana and Adriana; her sister, Efthimia and husband Gus; and niece and nephews, Angie, Billy, and Dimitri. Due to current state restrictions, funeral services will be private. A memorial service will be held at a later time and date for all to honor and celebrate her beautiful life.
