I grew up in a small town in eastern Pennsylvania. Every Christmas, my cousin Lou Ferdinando and his wife, Sally, traveled from New Jersey to our home and brought laughter, love and gifts! Lou was someone I admired for many reasons. He was smart, handsome, and possessed a winsome 'outgoing' personality. When visiting at their home some years ago, which turned out to be one of my last visits there (I moved to Ohio), Lou ran to the store, came home with fettuccine pasta and ricotta and lots of butter, and then proceeded to entertain us with a lively preparation of his signature fettuccine dish! That was my cousin Lou, kind and generous.
I am Jim Roma, son of Lou's Uncle Hen and Aunt Sue. I feel blessed to have known my cousin Lou. My prayers are now with Sally and all the family. God's peace.
