John “Jack” D. Loudon, 84, of Dover, passed away Friday, August 21, 2015 at Compassionate Care Hospice at Saint Clares Hospital, Dover. John was born in Motherwell, Scotland and came over to New York City in 1951. He has been a resident of Dover since 1964.
Jack was a Mason for the Brick Layers Local #34, NY from 1955-1992. He was a veteran of the British Army serving in 1st BN Cameronians Scottish Rifles. Mr. Loudon was also a member of the Marching Tatoo in the British Army.
A Loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather to six children-John and his wife Wendy, Margo Loudon, Nancy McCarrick and her husband Mark, Dennis and his wife Aura, Heather Howley and her husband Keary, Carol Paskert and her husband Peter, eight grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Jack was predeceased by his wife Margaret “Peggy” in 2004.
Visitation at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph (Tuttlefh.com) on Monday August 24, 2015 from 6:00PM – 9:00PM. A Funeral Service at the funeral home will be held on Tuesday August 25, 2015 at 10:00AM. Entombment at Locust Hill Mausoleum, Dover. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to Compassionate Care Hospice, 400 West Blackwell Street, Dover, NJ 07801.
