Proud to be a fraternity brother and fellow Morris County dweller with Greg (and Good Rats fan!), so glad to meet his family and so sorry for their loss.

I worked many years with Basil, until he retired, and with his son Greg. Basil was a great person and I'm blessed to have known him. After he retired, I missed him and whenever I saw Greg I always asked how his father was doing and to tell him I said hello. I will not visit because of covid concerns, but please extend my condolances to the family. God bless Basil and his family.

Saddened to hear of our Uncle Basil’s passing. We vividly recall brighter times following the decade after WWII when the Wolniak brothers returned from war, and Olga and Basil decided to get married. During this time, we were fortunate to be weekly guests on Saturday morning’s Jim DeLine radio show. On June 14, 1957, Jeanne and Norma wanted to make the joyous announcement to the Syracuse listening audience that our beloved Aunt Olga was marrying Basil Farbanish. We sang “Get Me To the Church On Time,” --then rushed off to the Church for Sandy to scatter her basketful of petals along the pathway to which they would embark on a new life together. As they are now reunited, we have planted a Grove of Three Trees, as we wish them eternal peace. Our deep condolences to cousins Gregory, Deborah, Barbara & families. Love, The Bigtree Sisters--Jeanne, Norma, Sandy & families.

Basil was our neighbor for 13 years before we moved out of Randolph. My sons and I would rake his leaves and snow blow his driveway which meant cash for my sons and a bottle of Grand Marnier for my wife and I at Christmas. Basil was a good friend to us always keeping an eye on the house when we would be gone. He always had a big smile and wave for us. I enjoyed many driveway conversations with him about anything and everything. Basil was smart! I learned a lot from his wisdom.
Olga was still living when we moved there and my then five year olds would always look forward to getting a sucker from her.
God Bless Basil. I know he will cross paths with my son Henry in heaven.
Love,
Dave, Chrissie, Charlie and Joe Aulenbach

who we are:
Tuttle Funeral home was designed as a funeral home by funeral home architects and designers. Unllike many funeral homes that were originally old homes and then were converted into funeral homes.
Though it was designed as a funeral home, it still provides the warm comforting feeling of a home, but with more space and an open feeling.
Our location
272 Highway 10 Randolph
