Obituary of Elizabeth Booser
Elizabeth Booser, age 90, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Born to Michael and Alice Baldy she was commonly known as Betty, she lived a full and wonderful life. Born in Dover NJ she graduated Dover HS and moved to Randolph, NJ with her husband Chief Harold Booser. They raised 4 children there and were pillars of the community.
Active in many things in the town she was most know for being the First Lady of Randolph. She loved hosting parties at her house with Harold and spending time with family, friends and the residents of the town. Close to her heart were the children of Randolph. She served Randolph as a crossing guard at Mt Fern School for many years and grew to love and protect the children of her community.
After Harold passed, she spent time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She traveled back and forth to Florida to visit family and enjoy time there. Her love for her family and fur babies were endless and she always made sure all were safe and sound and loved.
Her love of her family, friends and animals had no boundaries. She loved going the zoo’s and various animal rescues in Florida as well as NJ.
She will forever be remembered for her kindness towards all and her wonderful smile.
Elizabeth is survived by her children; William Booser and his wife Maureen of Safety Harbor, Fl., Karen Crossley of Newton, NJ, Linda Booser of New Port Richey, FL and her grandchildren; Bailee, Tyler, Brandon, Stephanie and her husband Eric, Danny Crossley, Amanda Kern and Michael and his wife Jennifer, she is also survived by her great grandchildren; Alex and Skylar, her brother Ronald and his wife Sue. She is also survived by her nephew Michael Baldy and his companion Veronica and niece Michelle Baldy-Huebner and her husband Neil. She was predeceased by husband Harold Booser a former Police Chief and Mayor of Randolph Township and her daughter Cheryl Kern.
