I've known Ed over 40 years and had the honor of working with him on the Dover Police Department including his very last day at work in 1991. He is what is known as a cop's cop and a rare and disappearing breed. My belief is that he was able to impart a lot of that wisdom onto the younger officers as they too joined the department over the decades. He was a staunch supporter of Dover PBA Local #107 as well.
He will be remembered by family and friends very fondly and with the utmost respect. This is a huge loss for family and friends and the community. Rest in Peace brother.
