Obituary of Joan E Newman

Joan E. Newman (nee Briant) 85, passed away after a short illness on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Hackensack Meridian Hospital, Shrewsbury.  Joan was a Secretary for Jersey Central Power & Light, Morristown, prior to her retirement.

Joan is survived by her three children: Joseph A. Newman Jr., Cynthia M. Becker and her husband Robert of Point Pleasant and Kathleen M. Powell and her husband Darren of Flemington.  She is also survived by her grandchildren; Valerie, Ashley, Patricia, Jessica, Courtney, Amanda and Joseph, her great grandchildren; Joseph, Cora and Ariana.  Joan is predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Joseph A. Newman Sr. and her son Patrick Myles Newman.

All services are private for immediate family and close friends.

Visitation Thursday, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM on April 1, 2021 with a Funeral Service to follow at 12:00 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 Route 10, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com).

Interment Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover.
