Obituary of Edward A Stevens
Edward A. Stevens 77, passed away peacefully at his home in Mine Hill on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 . He was an Army Veteran who served during the Vietnam War. Ed was an Operating Engineer for J. Fletcher Creamer and Sons in Hackensack and retired in 2008 after 30 years. He was a member of the North Jersey Street Rod Association, VFW Post 3401 of Morris Plains, American Legion Post 91 of Wharton, and Local #825 Operating Engineers of Springfield. Ed loved classic cars, taking rides, going to car shows, and going out to eat. Ed had a big heart and was always giving and helping everyone. He loved spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter Stacey A. Elliott, PA, Scott Stevens, Long Valley, his two grandchildren Samantha and Chloe, his great grandchild Brooklynn and many nieces and nephews. Ed is predeceased by his siblings Carol Russo, Sherwood Stevens, Robert Stevens and his parents Sherwood and Ann Stevens.
