Lorenza M. Bly (nee Rennie) 97, passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Regency Grande, Dover. She was born in Rockaway to Claude and Elizabeth Wyckoff and was raised in Dover.
Lorenza graduated from Dover High School in 1941. In 1942 she met Charles R. Bly while Ice Skating in Rockaway, and they were married a short time later. While in school she worked at Dover General Hospital as a Candy Striper and then as a Nurses Aid until 1943 then she worked for Air Products from 1952-1978 and Merry Heart Nursing Home from 1979- 1984 and finally she worked for Victory Gardens Boro Hall from 1982 – 2014 and she retired at the age of 90. She and Charles had 3 children: Kathleen, Brenda and Stanley.
Lorenza is survived by her daughters; Kathleen J. Pollison (Leon), Brenda J. Masino, her 10 grandchildren; Guy, Deborah, Corina, Valerie, Jerry, Julie, Rebecca, Raymond, Lisa and Phillip and 20 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Charles in 1970 and her son Stanley in 1995.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Visitation on Monday, April 19, 2021 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM and Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Interment at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover
