Joyce W. (Woods) Armstrong
November 10, 1930- July 24, 2021 (Age 90)
Randolph Twp; Joyce W. Armstrong, 90, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at her home in Randolph, New Jersey. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother.
Joyce was born in Kenvil, New Jersey on November 10, 1930 to the late Harold and Elsie (Johnson) Woods. Joyce spent her early years in Roxbury Township and graduated from Roxbury High School. She worked for Jersey Central Power and Light and then later, the Randolph Township School District. Joyce was a long-time member of the Millbrook Methodist Church where she was very active and served as the worship committee chairperson for many years.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years William T. Armstrong in 2013 and her grandson George Armstrong in 2020. She is survived by her four children Michael Armstrong and his wife Mary Jane of Ocala, FL, William Armstrong and his wife June of Bakersville, N.C., Nancy Burbridge and her husband Thomas of Randolph, and Robert Armstrong and his wife Victoria of Stroudsburg, PA. Also, her eight grandchildren: Jason Armstrong and his wife Jamie, Brian Armstrong, Ryan Burbridge, Michael Burbridge and his wife Georgia, Alisa Morgan and her husband James, Travis Davies, Courtney Burbridge and Stacey Worley and her husband Trevor. Her ten great grandchildren; Jasmyn, Olivia, Hunter, Sophia. Kaden, Dylan, Alice, Jake, Ruby and Lucy.
Visitation 4pm-8pm on Wednesday July 28, 2021, at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph (tuttlefh.com). Memorial Service 10am at Millbrook Methodist Church, Randolph on Thursday, July 29, 2021. Interment to follow at Millbrook Cemetery, Randolph. In Lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Joyce’s memory to the Millbrook Methodist Church, Randolph, New Jersey.
