Obituary of Marie Fritch
Marie Fritch passed away September 23, 2021 suddenly and peacefully at Saint Claires Hospital in Dover, New Jersey. She was born September 25, 1937 the daughter of Francis and Mary (Stager) Jobeless.
Marie graduated from Roxbury High School, Class of 1954. Following graduation she worked as an administrative assistant at Picatinny Arsenal. She soon married the, younger than her, dashing mechanical engineer, Paul Fritch and settled in Mine Hill where they raised their family of 4 children and celebrated 56 years of blissful marriage. She was a founding member of the Mine Hill Ladies Thursday Tea Group. Marie loved her family and hosted holidays and picnics with great joy. She also loved Walt Disney World and took many vacations there with her family. Marie enjoyed shopping, sewing, scrapbooking, Christmas, and was known as the unofficial family photographer. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brothers Frank and Ronald. Surviving in addition to her husband Paul Louis Fritch, are her son, Donald and wife Sarah of Dover, son Paul and wife Laura of Cary NC, son Eric and wife Amy of Traverse City MI, and daughter, Mary and husband Ian Lewis of Lakeville MA; eight grandchildren, Charlotte Fritch, Wesley Fritch , Ean Fritch, William Fritch, Christopher Fritch, Alena Fritch, Sebastian Fritch and Oliver Lewis; one sister, Lorraine Smilor of Hopatcong and one brother, Allen Jobeless of Oakland; and many nieces and nephews she held close to her heart.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 3 to 4pm at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 Route 10, Randolph. A service of rembrance will follow at 4pm also at the funeral home. Those who wish to remember Marie in a special way may make gifts in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Foundation - www.alz.org - or the Celebrate the Children School in Denville.
