We were so sad to hear of Don's passing. Don was a rarity - a thoroughly decent human being. We have many fond memories of Don from Mt. Fern church where his service and quiet leadership was so important. While we are confident that Don is now with his Savior, we offer our condolences to Jane and the entire family, and all who will miss him.

I have fond memories of Donald and Jane from my growing up years and then a.couple of visits in recent years. Don was my father's (Bill Winget) first cousin. Condolences and love to my NJ Winget family.

My deepest condolences to your family at this very emotional time. Your father was a pillar in your family and community. Everyone who encountered him couldn’t help but become a better person because of his gentle and sincere nature. He was a hard worker for his family, his church and was always seeking the good in others and did good for others. I will always cherish the fond memories I was blessed with by him, Jane and the rest of the family. A tree has been planted in his honor, so that all that lived inside of him can be remembered and grown in all of us who were blessed and had their lives touched and changed because of him.

I only met Don and his wife Jane in person once. In April 2019 my elder son, Andrew, and I flew across from the U.K. to meet our long lost American ‘cousins’ for the first time. Don’s grandmother, Fannie Winget, and my paternal grandfather, John Thomas Marriott, were first cousins, Fannie having emigrated from Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, with her grandmother, mother, two aunts and another cousin in 1869, leaving her two surviving uncles, including my great grandfather, behind.
I first got in touch with Don and Jane around six years ago and was also able to correspond with his eldest son, Brian. On a lovely New Jersey day over two years ago, we were finally able to meet, first at Don’s home (see photo) and then over lunch at Brian’s place (see photo), where we also met more of the family, including three of Don’s other children, Robert, Dan and Wendy, as well as three of his grandchildren, and also Don’s daughter in law, Brian’s wife, Barb, and his son in law, Wendy’s husband, Andrew Cleffi. Both Andy and I thought what a close knit and loving family they were, a great credit to Don and Jane and their firm religious faith.
Now Jane is sady alone but I have no doubt that her family will keep rallying round her as they have done over recent years. Don did not have an easy start to life; but I feel, from what I have learned from him and his family, that his was a life well lived.
My wife, Linda, and I, together with our sons, Andrew and Edward, and their families, send our Winget ‘cousins’ our deepest condolences.

Dear Mrs. Winget, Brian/Barb, and Winget Family. Dianne and I send our deepest sympathies on the passing of your Dad. When I remember your Dad, he always had a smile on his face and a shovel or hammer in his hands as he worked around your house. Or he and Mom were on their way around America in their camper..... Please know that Di and I are keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Sincerely, Dianne and Dennis "Beefy" O'Keefe

who we are:
Tuttle Funeral home was designed as a funeral home by funeral home architects and designers. Unllike many funeral homes that were originally old homes and then were converted into funeral homes.
Though it was designed as a funeral home, it still provides the warm comforting feeling of a home, but with more space and an open feeling.
