Obituary of Lindon Odis Apperson
Lindon Odis Apperson, 69, of Rockaway, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021.
He was born in Dover and, after residing in Arizona for several years, returned to the East coast to be with his family.
Lindon lived life fearlessly and with much tenacity, overcoming more obstacles than imaginable. He was always ready for a good time and truly was one of a kind.
He was an avid music lover and collector of instruments (always with the intent of learning to play). He loved prisms and expressed his desire that people think of him whenever they see a rainbow.
When asked, recently, if he had any life advice to share he responded with the following…
“Enjoy every last bit that you can.
Touch everything that you can.
Be kind, don’t be nasty.
Don’t have hate in yourself or in your heart, no matter the circumstances.
Let it go."
He is survived by his daughters Debbie Lorenzo of South Plainfield and Jennifer Montorio of Dingmans Ferry, PA; grandsons Vito Montorio and Vincent Lorenzo; siblings Richard Ward, Patricia Gould, William Apperson, Cindy Mirabelli and several nieces and nephews . He is predeceased by his younger brother John Apperson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021, 6:00-8:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). A graveside service will take place on Saturday, October 9, 2021, 10:00AM, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Randolph.
