Obituary of Kathleen Schmidt

Kathleen Mitchell Schmidt, the devoted and selfless protector of her children and grandchildren, and matriarch to the family she worked tirelessly to build and serve, has earned her wings and joined her dear twin sister Maureen and their parents James and Mary in the Kingdom of Heaven. She was a fierce fighter who touched many during her lifetime, and those who knew her well always knew they had a second home, confidant, and surrogate mom in her presence. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

She was the beloved mother of Thomas Finocchio, Michael Finocchio, Lora Chandra, and Edward Schmidt. She was the devoted Aunt to Christina Fleisher and James Seck. She was the adoring Lambie to her three grandsons Jacob Trunzo, Luke Finocchio, and Jameson Finocchio, her great nephews Liam and Landon Fleisher, and her great niece Janey Seck. There are countless others who've had the privilege over the years of being taken under the warmth of Kathy's wing and called her mom, and she remains with us all.

For those of you who wish to pay respects to this monument of motherly love and dedication, and Heaven’s newest and most beautiful angel, a funeral service will take place on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, from 4:00PM to 8:00PM, at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph (tuttlefh.com).
