Obituary of John Thomas Reilley

John Thomas Reilley, 78, of Rockaway Twp., passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at St. Clare’s Hospital, Dover. He was born in Yonkers, NY and moved his family to Rockaway NJ in 1975.  He worked as a Financial Analyst for RJR Nabisco, East Hanover.

After retiring at Nabisco in 1999, he joined the FBI as an auditor and also became a substitute teacher in the Rockaway Township Schools.  John also volunteered helping others with the Senior Cents (Norwescap) with Morris County Social Services.  He spent many of these years traveling the world with his wife Ginny.

He is survived by his wife Virginia; son John Reilley (wife Laura); daughter Cathy Bruseo (husband Kirk); six grandchildren: Sean Bruseo, Mary Bruseo, Meghan Reilley, William Bruseo, Kelly Reilley, and Erin Reilley. He is predeceased by his parents Alvin and Mary Reilley and his brother Al Reilley.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022, 11:00AM-1:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph. A memorial mass will follow at 2:00PM at St. Clement Pope and Martyr Church, Rockaway.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to a charity of personal choice.
