Obituary of Arthur F Young
Arthur Frank Young, Jr., of Effort, PA, went to be with our Lord and Savior on January 27th,2022.
He is survived by his beautiful wife for 30 years, Diana Young; his son Art Young; daughters Jennifer Young, Nicole Militello (Lorenzo), Jessica Guilherme, and his twins James and Paul Young; grandchildren Shayla Harper, Jesse Harper, Cameron Young, Jacob Schettler, Jordan Schettler, Zayne Young, Salvatore Militello, Jaxson Schnettler, and Carmelo Militello.
Arthur Young was born on 7/31/1951 in Orange, NJ, to Arthur Young, Sr. and Ida Young. Art was a Painting Contractor for 30 years before his retirement. He later moved to West Monroe, Louisiana, where he lived for the last 18 years until moving back up north.
Art loved his kids and grandkids very much. He also very much loved his wrestling. If you knew him, he probably mentioned it a few times. But most importantly he loved his God where he gave his life to Jesus Christ years ago the same time his brother Kenneth Young did. Where years later his brother Ken became a pastor. Art dedicated his service, money, and help in building the building and ministry of Bethesda Christian Center (Mountain Top Church) in Hackettstown, NJ. He had an amazing heart for many different ministries including Hope for the Handicap that his brother started and also Teen Challenge. He loved the ministry of Teen Challenge and loved the fact that God gives second chances. Art was a proud American and taught each and every one of kids the importance of our country and the freedom that we have. Art was just a type of guy that wanted to talk to anyone and just sit down and have a cup of coffee with them (if you make it). He will forever be missed, and we know that he is with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and rooting on those New York Yankees with Him.
A visitation will take place on Monday, January 31, 2022, at Mountain Top Church, Hackettstown from 3:00-7:00PM with a service, in celebration of his life, following at 7:00PM. Interment will be on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at 11:00AM at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover. All arrangements by Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph.
