Obituary of Robert Earl Reed

Robert E. Reed, 82 passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022, at Excelcare, Dover, NJ.  Robert was born on May 27th, 1939 in Dover, NJ and grew up in Rockaway, NJ where he graduated from Morris Hills High School. Prior to retiring, he worked in the transportation industry as a Limousine Driver / Dispatcher for Atlantic Limo, Rockaway, NJ and in the food service/restaurant industry in the earlier part of his career.  Throughout his life he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, attending/watching any type of sporting event and was a wonderful home chef and baker.

Robert is survived by his sons; Joseph and Steven Reed, his daughters in law; Sheryl Reed (Highton) and Karen Reed (Gorkowski), his grandchildren; Madison, Jake and Adriana Reed, his sister; Thelma Reese (Reed), his brother in laws; Joseph Reese and Thomas Vazquez, his sister in law; Mary Ann Vazquez, he is also survived by his nieces and nephews; Cathy Reese, Sean Neilon, Joseph Neilon, Robert Reese, John Michael Vazquez, Shane Vazquez, Jess Vazquez, Meredith Vazquez, Uray Vazquez, Khela Vazquez, Samantha Vazquez, Kaitlin Vazquez, Makayla Vazquez, Cameron Vazquez, Danica Vazquez, Sophia Vazquez, Adalena Vazquez, Mason Vazquez, Olivia Vazquez and Tilly Vazquez. Robert was predeceased by his wife Joan Reed in 2002.

Visitation 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 Route 10, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com).

Funeral Service 10:00 AM on Monday, February 28, 2022, also at the Funeral Home.

Interment Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover.
