Obituary of Frank Albert Pavlick
Frank A. Pavlick passed away peacefully on Sunday March 6, 2022. He was 82. After graduating from Morris Hills High School, Frank served in the United States Army and was based in Germany where he met his sweetheart and future wife Waltraud (Trudy). They married in 1961. They owned the East End Diner in Dover and then Frank’s Diner in Whippany which they owned and operated for 33 years. Frank’s Diner was like Cheers, a place where everybody knew your name and regulars gathered for good food, Frank’s tongue in cheek humor and wise counsel. Frank served as a Dover Alderman in the 1960’s.
He is predeceased by his parents Frank and Thelma Pavlick and his beloved daughter Christina Pavlick Valvano. He is survived by Trudy his wife and partner of 61 years, his cherished granddaughter Adriana and son-in-law Dan Valvano.
A memorial service will be held from 10:00 to 12:00 PM on Monday, March 14, 2022 at Tuttle Funeral Home in Randolph N.J. Internment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover N.J.
